Anybody have any experience with a crank trigger ignition solution for a 2002 ? My engine has Tii pistons and is planed so the compression is pretty high. So I need a high idle advance and a slow curve and a total of about 35 degrees. Even the Tii distributor comes in too fast. Any solution advice out there ?

Hello all, a new 2002 owner here!
I recently purchased an immaculate 2002 tii in December, and had trouble getting it out as too much salt on the roads. I'll upload some pics, but have a few queries. Hope somebody can help.
First, simple things like best oil to use, tyre choices etc, but first job might be to install more supportive front seats. Current seats are standard and in good nick, so might be good idea to remove to keep their condition.
Car was rebuilt at Jaymic in the late 1990s with massive bills, so not much to be done at present. Might be keen to use for some road rallying so advice about brake lining spec, and damper mods also gratefully received!
